THE KTM DUKE 125 ABS
This bike might seem like the KTM DUKE 200, but this is the new bike from KTM the DUKE 125 with ABS.The bike is expected to be launched in the early 2014. KTM has introduced ABS in this bike as a step to make the journey safe than ever, the riders can now ride with greater relaxation. Bringing this technology KTM has made none of the changes in their dynamics.
BRAKES
The KTM has made efforts in setting new safety standards with the first ABS in the 125cc class. On the new KTM DUKE 125, the ABS(from Bosch) monitors the function of the powerful brake system with a radially mounted four piston calliper, this gains more braking power to the bike.
INJECTION
The new 125 cc engine comes with a new design. The close ratio, six speed transmission not only help the KTM 125 DUKE to achieve good performance, but also to manage fuel consumption. The regulated catalytic converter produces only a minimal emissions.
FUEL TANK
The 11 L fuel tank of the 125 is not different from the 200's. It provides the rider with perfect knee contact. The rider can easily ride a range of 300 km very comfortably.
SILENCER
The three chamber silencer is placed at the machine's centre of gravity. This helps in the handling of the bike.
ENGINE
The new engine is liquid cooled, single cylinder, four stroke engine, four valves and electronic injection.
It effortlessly achieves its peak power of 11 kw(15 bhp) and this power is generated with highest level of smoothness.
WHEELS & TYRES
The bike is light weighted, delicate and stable. The cast alloy wheels provide a 110 mm tyre width at the front and 150 mm at the rear. The tyres are very good at both dry and wet conditions, they as well provide durability.
COCKPIT
This is a multi function cockpit, which keeps you upto date with fuel consumption and remaining range. You can add your own individual style to the cockpit.
